Sr. Pauline Waititu
Currently, I am working in CUEA as an adjunct lecture since August 2019 in the Department of Counseling Psychology. Each semester I handle three Units in Diploma classes as well as Bachelor’s classes.
I am also working in a public special school under the TSC as a Special Education Teacher. I am the school counselor of both the primary and the secondary school. I have worked as a mental health specialist for the last 8 years. In this period, I have offered counseling services to the Congregation of the Little Daughters in Eastern Africa, Recovery Trail Centre for drug addicts, Asumbi Treatment Centre for drug addicts and alcoholics, Ol’kalou Rehabilitation Centre for children with physical disabilities and among the Youth in the Diocese of Nyahururu.
I have also been the coordinator of guidance and counseling services in the schools I have taught. I am a member of the Leadership team in the Congregation of the Little Daughters of St. Joseph. I facilitate workshops and seminars on Personality awareness, character development in schools as a character coach, and on leadership skills to the youth, young families and aspiring candidates for religious life. I’m competent in project proposal writing, facilitation of seminars and workshops, mentorship, leadership, academic coaching and advising. I run school programs on parenting and education to teachers and parents.
